Millhaven Asylum

Millhaven Asylum has a long and storied history. Previously a home for the criminally insane, it was modernised in the early seventies into a state of the art psychiatric hospital. Then, without notice, all funding was pulled and it was left to decay. Overgrown in places, with flaking paint and aging furniture, the Asylum shows signs of its previous life as an operational facility: an open Atrium that would have given patients a view of the outside world they could not reach, a dormitory where people were kept awake by the cries of others, a Morgue for those who died within the Asylum’s walls.

The Asylum gained notoriety after an occult mass murder took place. The lone survivor – a young boy – vanished whilst in custody. With subtle coercion from an anonymous source, the Truth Seekers took it upon themselves to reopen the case… and they’ve been missing ever since.
